Meet MAS. . . aka Mary Anne Spivey Your Dedicated Greenville Travel Agent

I know your time is valuable. Most of the clients I work with are balancing careers, family, commitments, and full calendars. Planning a trip should feel exciting, not like one more thing added to your list.

When you work with me, you can stay focused on your life while I handle the details. I take care of the research, coordination, timelines, and moving pieces so you do not have to.

At MAS Escapes, I take the time to understand how you want your trip to feel. Every trip is planned around your preferences, your pace, and what matters most to you. My goal is simple: you enjoy the experience while I take care of the work behind the scenes.

You should not have to wonder if you missed something or second guess your choices. You deserve to feel confident knowing someone is paying attention to the details and helping protect the investment you are making in your time away.

Also, a fun fact about me: I love tennis. A lot. Enough that it absolutely has a little influence on my office hours. Between client work and trying to keep up with matches and league play, I have learned to protect my schedule and use my time well. So yes, tennis may get a slice of the calendar, but my clients still get thoughtful planning and plenty of attention to detail.

Office Hours
Tuesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

If you do not see a time that works for your schedule, please reach out. I will always do my best to accommodate when I can!

My Signature Style

I focus on well-planned cruises and beautifully chosen all-inclusive escapes for adults who want their time away to feel effortless from the moment they leave home.

The difference is always in the details. Cabin placement, ship design, pacing, resort atmosphere, room category, timing. These are the pieces that shape how relaxed you truly feel once you arrive. I pay attention to those decisions so you do not have to.

As a Certified Mexpert, I bring firsthand familiarity with the resorts and the nuances that are easy to overlook when planning on your own. My role is to guide you toward the right fit, not simply what is popular.

Most of my clients are couples, empty nesters, and friends traveling together who value thoughtful planning and a seamless experience.

My goal is simple.
You show up. You relax. Everything else has already been handled.

Preparing for your consultation call...
It's BEST to have everyone involved in making decisions on the call or Zoom!

This consultation is the best place to start if you’re ready to talk through your trip ideas, travel preferences, and the best next step.

If you already know exactly what you’d like to book, I may be able to help without an additional planning fee. If your trip requires research, recommendations, or comparing options, a non-refundable planning fee may apply before that work begins.

If we find the right fit, you should be prepared to place a deposit within a few business days to secure pricing and availability.

To make the most of our call, it helps to have your travel dates, number of travelers, destination ideas, and general budget in mind.

After our call, I’ll send next steps so you can decide if you’d like to move forward.

Common Questions. . .

What kinds of trips do you book?
I help clients with cruises, river cruises, all-inclusive resorts, group trips, and custom vacations. My focus is on trips that feel well planned, easy, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Do you charge a planning fee?
Some trips do require a planning fee. If you already know exactly what you want to book, like a specific cruise, hotel, or resort, I may be able to handle that without an additional planning fee. If your trip requires research, comparing options, recommendations, or custom itinerary work, a non-refundable planning fee will apply before that work begins.

Why do some trips have a planning fee and others do not?
Not every trip requires the same level of time, research, and support. A simple booking is very different from building a custom trip with multiple options, moving parts, and detailed recommendations. Planning fees cover the time and expertise involved in that work.

Can you help if I do not know where I want to go yet?
Yes! That is actually very common. If you know your general budget, travel timeframe, who is going, and how you want the trip to feel, I can help narrow down the best options.

How does the process work?
We usually start with a consultation so I can learn more about your trip, preferences, and goals. From there, I’ll let you know whether your trip is a simple booking or requires more in-depth planning support, and I’ll outline the next steps.

Will I need to place a deposit right away?
If we find a trip that feels like the right fit, you should be prepared to place a deposit within a few business days in order to secure pricing and availability. Travel prices and space can change quickly.

Do you offer payment plans?
Many travel suppliers do, but not all. Payment options depend on the cruise line, resort, tour company, or hotel involved. I can explain what is available once we know which trip you are considering.

Do you recommend travel insurance?
Yes. I strongly recommend travel insurance for most trips. Coverage can help protect your travel investment and assist with unexpected issues before or during travel. I can help you review your options.

Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking online myself?
Because there is more to a good trip than clicking the lowest price. I help clients sort through the options, avoid costly mistakes, understand what they are booking, and feel more supported before and during travel.

What happens after I book?
That depends on the trip, but my support may include payment reminders, important deadline reminders, travel preparation emails, and guidance on next steps leading up to departure.
